Tea Time, Babies, and Thrifting

 I had a fabulous day with these beautiful ladies. We had tea and lunch together followed by shopping at a thrift store and a long time of fellowship. Cassie and Liz are two very dear people. It's such a blessing to have friends like these in my life.

 Meet the Hudspeths! My favorite way to do family photos is to do it at their home—where they are most comfortable. This family owns a beautifully wooded property that was perfect for photos.

Still, My Soul Be Still

I drew this custom piece for some friends. As I was creating it, I was listening to the song the whole time. And all I can say is, God is good. God, You are MY GOD. I will trust in You and not be shaken. You still my soul. I can truly rest in Your love and Your goodness.

Canoe Trip

 Jake and I went with some buddies from church to Lake Jocassee on Labor Day weekend (yes, I'm a little late in posting these, I know). I always love getting outdoors—especially to a lake to do some kayaking or, in this case, canoeing. In the morning, we played some games and grilled some lunch, then headed down to the lake. We got some time to swim after canoeing to a little inlet, but after hearing thunder, we headed back. I'm blessed to have such fabulous friends that always make for having a great time.

Indie Craft Parade 2012

 Creative Rumors hit up another show this weekend—the fabulous Indie Craft Parade! This time, we got to exhibit our upcycled journals and sketchbooks. We're looking forward to more great things coming!
