As I went downstairs this morning I looked out the window and this is what I saw.
Take the time to enjoy the small things in life....such as squirrels doing gymnastics on your back patio.
I miss the city. This specific picture was taken in Minneapolis last July using reflections in the window to create the abstract-ness. The different buildings you see are all big parts of Minneapolis history and were vital to its growth.
I love the angles and the unexpected twists and the colors in this photo. Look at the world differently some days. You'll find the neatest things.
Thinking about how the most random things can inspire me at the oddest times.
Words from a song.
Light beams through the clouds.
A passing person's wardrobe ensemble.
Bolts of fabric.
Cooking shows.
A conversation with a stranger.
As long as you are open, there's a whole world of inspiration out there. So soak it in.
I had the opportunity to do a small photoshoot of my friend Faith yesterday—to get some shots for her senior recital invite that she asked me to design. Faith's style is very distinct—bohemian, ethereal, and layers upon layers of lace. The shoot was inspired by that natural, atmospheric feel.
Faith is going to be famous one day in the world of opera. She has the drive and ambition and intense love of music and languages to push her farther than anyone I know.
